For many years I accompany people on their way, and I do so with great curiosity, joy and mindfulness.

All the children are particularly close to my heart . They were and are my greatest teachers of my life over and over again. I have many wonderful experiences and special moments with them.

P. Rangi Wasundara

Physiotherapist-Couch

My name is P. Rangi Wasundara and I am working at the moment at the National Hospital in Sri Lanka as an training Physioterapist.

I'm very glad that I had an opportunity to work with Barbara a well talented, kind hearted person.

Working with differently abled children made me happy and felt well satisfied of my occupation.

I never set money as my goal. All I wanted was to give my service to people who in need. That was well achieved by working there with her at "SAMANALI".

I love to serve more & more in the future. Unless other occupations a health professional can serve people most through their job itself. That's the main reason I choose this field.

I hope I will improve my knowledge and skills to be a good or the best physiotherapist.

Sunethra M.L
Dance teacher

Dance teacher and Nursery teacher: Since middle of August Iam partecipating at the "SAMANALI-PROJECT". Very professional and with lots of love I am teaching the children with exercises the traditional but also modern dance. They are accompanied musically with the traditional musical instruments of Sri Lanka, such as drumming, rattling and singing. I am very proud of the children and at the beginning of January we were able to present a very beautiful dance performance in front of the audience at the all-year "Magic Day" with beautiful self-made costumes. It makes me very happy to teach these children the traditional dance of Sri Lanka.

Nita

Teacher for special need

I have been teaching Chatumini private for about 3 years. Because for time reasons, I can not go to the centre so  I go home to Chatumini every 2 weeks and teach her in all important subjects such as Sinhala, Buddhism, Mathematics, Physics, English. Chatumini is sitting in a wheelchair and therefore does not have the opportunity to attend a school lesson in her surroundings Galle. Since private tutoring, she has developed very postiv pedagogically. I am pleased to be able to contribute.

Teacher for special need

Because I have a disabled son, I know how hard it is sometimes in Sri Lanka to get educational lessons for these special children. I am happy to join the "SAMANALI-PROJECT" and I try with love from my heart to offer the children a good lesson.
